Punjab’s Hyderabad & Chennai roadshows attract top industries, boost MSME growth, and strengthen investment momentum ahead of Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026.
The Government of Punjab has successfully completed a high-impact outreach across Hyderabad and Chennal, creating substantial interest from prominent South Indian industries ahead of the Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026. This is a significant boost to its national investor engagement efforts.
Senior representatives from the Department of Industries & Commerce, Punjab Development Commission (PDC), and Invest Punjab joined Sanjeev Arora, Cabinet Minister for Industries & Commerce, Investment Promotion, Power, and NRI Affairs, in leading the trip. Mobility, aerospace, defense, electronics, IT, food processing, healthcare, tourism, and engineering services were among the many industries that were the subject of the engagements.
Focused conversations with notable organizations like Ceph Life Sciences, Vibrant Energy, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, TIE Global, and Baba Group of Companies were part of the Hyderabad leg. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Visakha Pharmacity (Ramky Group), and Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases. BEL indicated interest in adding more MSMEs from Punjab to its supply chain for electronics and defense.
In order to investigate extensive opportunities in manufacturing and infrastructure, Arora also met Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, a Rajya Sabha MP and the founder of the Ramky Group.

Chennai was as enthusiastic. The delegation had meetings with senior executives from Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, Virtusa, Rattha Group, GlobalLogic (Hitachi), Bahwan CyberTek, CavinKare, Garuda Aerospace, Hatsun Agro, and Portman Enterprises.
Food processing, sustainable transportation, engineering design, digital transformation, and healthcare services were among the main topics of conversation.

Given Punjab’s advantageous location for North Indian markets and easy access to the National Capital Region, a number of businesses stated their intention to assess prospects in Mohali, Ludhiana, and Rajpura. Mohali was dubbed “the next Gurugram of North India” by Bahwan Cyber Tek leaders, particularly for tech-driven digital businesses. Another important factor that was identified as facilitating data center operations was Punjab’s power surplus advantage.

Sanjeev Arora updated industries during the outreach on Punjab’s better business environment, including the state’s recent designation as a “Top Achiever” in the Government of India’s Ease of Doing Business rankings.
He emphasized that:
