The update was shared by Balbir Singh on X, where he stated that protecting public health and ensuring safety remain the government’s highest priority. He emphasized that the response to the Hepatitis A outbreak is being carried out in a coordinated and urgent manner to prevent further spread of infection.

As part of the containment strategy for the Hepatitis A outbreak, health department teams are conducting door-to-door surveys to identify and monitor affected individuals. Medical camps have been set up in the area to provide immediate treatment, testing, and awareness support to residents.
