Nagar Kirtan from Srinagar enters Punjab, warmly welcomed in Pathankot; marks 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with grand celebrations.

The Nagar Kirtan, which began in Srinagar on November 19, entered Punjab today to commemorate the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, and was warmly received at the Madhopur Head. With a shower of flowers, the Sangat, Pathankot District Administration, and Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak welcomed the holy event.

A group of Punjab Police gave the Nagar Kirtan a ceremonial salute as it entered Punjab. Nihang Singhs demonstrated his mastery of the martial technique Gatka, which heightened the spiritual fervor.

AAP Punjab Vice President Swarn Salaria, District President Amandeep Singh Sandhu, Sahib Singh Sabha, SSP Daljinder Singh Dhillon, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Pallavi, and Baljinder Bunty from the Kisan Wing were among the dignitaries in attendance.

Before stopping at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School on Mission Road in Pathankot, the Nagar Kirtan traveled from Madhopur through Sujanpur, Malkapur, Chhoti Nehar, Tank Chowk, Bus Stand Pathankot, Lights Chowk, and Mission Chowk. Before entering the Hoshiarpur area, the procession will leave the school on November 21 and pass through Simbal Hakk, Chakki Bridge, Damtaal, Mirthal, and Mansar Toll Plaza.

Interestingly, the Nagar Kirtan, which left Srinagar on November 19 and will continue on from Pathankot to its next stop, stopping on November 21 in Hoshiarpur. The holy procession will end on November 22 in Sri Anandpur Sahib after traveling a total of 544 kilometers.
