Punjab: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Thursday visited Jalandhar for the second time within a month and held a ‘Lok Milni’ programme at his official residence, where a large number of residents gathered to raise their grievances. The Chief Minister personally heard complaints from people of Jalandhar and adjoining areas and issued immediate instructions to officials to ensure swift resolution of their issues.
Calling ‘Lok Milni’ an effective grievance redressal platform, CM Mann said Punjab is the only state where the Chief Minister directly engages with citizens through such an extensive public outreach initiative. He noted that the programme not only strengthens communication between the government and the public but also helps evaluate the efficiency and accountability of officials.
