Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Party government has taken a major step towards women empowerment with the launch of the Maavan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana, aimed at promoting self-reliance among mothers and daughters in the state. The registration process for the scheme was officially initiated in Sunam Udham Singh Wala by Punjab AAP President and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora.

Speaking at the event, Aman Arora said that the Maavan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana is designed to ensure that women across Punjab can access support and become financially and socially independent. The registration drive marks the beginning of the scheme’s on-ground implementation.

He added that the Maavan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana has been carefully structured after extensive discussions so that no eligible mother or daughter is left out of its benefits.
