Punjab Education Minister Bains and Advisor Bali meet Jathedar to plan grand 350th Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom celebrations in Anandpur Sahib.

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and Advisor to the Tourism & Cultural Affairs Department Deepak Bali paid a visit to Giani Kuldeep Singh Garjgajj, Officiating Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib in a major move to ensure the solemn and grand commemorations of the 350th Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Anniversary.

Bains and Deepak Bali invited Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj to participate in the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary celebrations of Ninth Guru Sahib Ji during their meeting in the hallowed grounds of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. His participation in the ‘Sarb Dharm Sammelan’, which is set for November 23 in Sri Anandpur Sahib, was also sought by the Education Minister. Reiterating Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s teachings on peace, sacrifice, and the defense of all religions, the Sarb Dharm Sammelan is expected to be a significant occasion that fosters harmony and togetherness among all, he continued.

S. Bains informed Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj of the state government’s preparations for the momentous occasions. He emphasized the comprehensive plans and continuous development projects being carried out in Sri Anandpur Sahib and the surrounding areas by the Punjab Government, which is led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
