Punjab :  Revenue and Housing & Urban Development Minister, Hardeep Singh Mundian , conducted marathon meetings today with representatives from various unions at Punjab Bhawan. The discussions included members from the Revenue Patwar Union, Kanoongo Union, Sanjha Mulazim Manch PUDA, and the All India Terrorism Victims Association.

Assuring that all legitimate demands would be addressed promptly, Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian emphasized that under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government remains committed to the welfare of all sections of society. He listened attentively to the concerns raised and stated that issues resolvable at the departmental level would be addressed immediately, while matters requiring intervention from the Chief Minister or Finance Department would be escalated for further discussion.

Recognition and Support for Dedicated Employees

The Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian  highlighted that Patwaris and Kanoongos demonstrating exemplary performance in their duties would be recognized and rewarded. He also encouraged all employees to perform their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, and accountability.

Regarding the Sanjha Mulazim Manch PUDA, Mundian assured that extending pension benefits to PUDA retirees would be taken up with the Chief Minister at the earliest opportunity.

In discussions with the All India Terrorism Victims Association, the Minister  Hardeep Singh Mundian reaffirmed the Punjab Government’s commitment to providing assistance, security, and rehabilitation for families affected by terrorism. He assured that the association’s genuine demands would be carefully reviewed and addressed in coordination with the relevant departments.

Also present at the meetings were Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner Revenue Anurag Verma, Housing and Urban Development Principal Secretary Vikas Garg, and other senior officials.
