FIR Registered in Dera Bassi Hospital Clash: Dr. Balbir Singh Issues Stern Warning
Chandigarh, April 12: In a firm response to an incident of violence at the Civil Hospital in Dera Bassi, Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh confirmed that an FIR has been registered against both parties involved in the clash that disrupted services on hospital premises.
The altercation, which took place recently in the hospital compound, prompted swift action by authorities, as the state government reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring peace and safety in all public health institutions.

“All hospitals are designated as peace zones,” the minister stated. “Any violation of hospital protocols or violence against medical staff is a non-bailable offence. We will not tolerate such acts under any circumstances, regardless of political or social affiliations.”
