Dr. Ravjot Singh assures Punjab Education Department employees that their legitimate concerns, including contractual staff issues, are under consideration.

Punjab Parliamentary Affairs & NRI Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh on Wednesday reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment to addressing the concerns of its workforce, highlighting that under CM Bhagwant Singh Mann’s leadership, many employee-related issues, including those of contractual staff, have already been resolved. He added that remaining legitimate demands are under consideration and will be addressed appropriately.

While presiding over meetings at the Punjab Secretariat, Dr. Ravjot Singh held detailed discussions regarding the Department of Education. The sessions were attended by senior officials, including Secretary Education Sonali Giri and other top officers from the Education Department.

During the meetings, Dr. Ravjot Singh also engaged with representatives from 13 employee unions associated with the education sector. Speaking with members of the Teachers Association, the Minister assured them that their valid concerns are being carefully reviewed.

The Minister directed the Education Department and other relevant authorities to take necessary action on the legitimate demands raised during the meetings. He reiterated that the CM Mann-led Punjab Government remains a pro-employee administration, committed to creating a stable and supportive working environment for all public servants.
