Patiala: Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh on Thursday launched multiple Development Works in Hiana Kalan village in Patiala Rural with an estimated cost of ₹65 lakh.
The projects have been initiated as part of the Punjab Government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen village infrastructure and improve public facilities across rural areas. Officials stated that the initiative reflects the Mann Government’s commitment towards ensuring continuous development in every village of the state.
Development Works in Hiana Kalan Aim to Improve Basic Infrastructure
Speaking on the occasion, Balbir Singh said the Punjab Government is working day and night to make every village and city in the state more developed, beautiful, and equipped with essential facilities. He added that the newly launched Development Works in Hiana Kalan will help improve local infrastructure and provide better amenities for residents.

The minister stated that village development remains a key priority for the Mann Government, with continuous efforts being made to upgrade roads, sanitation systems, public spaces, and other essential services in rural Punjab.
