CM Mann and Arvind Kejriwal paid respects at Sikh Takhts after Punjab declared Anandpur Sahib, Talwandi Sabo, and Amritsar Walled City holy cities.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal paid respects at Gurdwara Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Gurdwara Sheeshganj Sahib, and Gurdwara Bhora Sahib. They expressed gratitude to the Almighty for providing them with the immense strength to approve the historic resolution designating three Takhts as holy cities.

Immediately after passing the resolution to officially declare walled city of Amritsar, Talwandi Sabo and Sri Anandpur Sahib as holy city, the Chief Minister and National Convener of AAP said with all humility that Almighty had bestowed his bountiful blessings on us to accomplish this gigantic task, which was ultimately a result of service towards the humanity. According to Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Singh Mann, they have come to thank God for providing them the tremendous strength to complete this important endeavor. They claimed that God had given them service (sewa), something that no one else had ever considered in the previous several decades.

He declared unequivocally that countries that have a tendency to lose sight of their cultural history and legacy would eventually disappear. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal declared that it was our unavoidable responsibility to protect our rich cultural legacy for future generations for all time.

The Chief Minister added that the Punjab government’s special initiative will significantly contribute to the preservation of the state’s historical, cultural, and architectural legacy. They also said that it would significantly contribute to the thorough development of these sacred cities, which serve as the hub of our rich cultural legacy. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal expressed their hope that this decision will act as a beacon of humanity for all people living in the state.
