CM Mann Lauds Punjab Police for Nabbing Two Spies in Major Anti-National Operation

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann praises the state police force on Sunday for apprehending two people suspected of espionage operations, hailing it as a big victory against anti-national elements. The arrests, which thwarted a serious attempt to compromise national security, were described as a proud moment for the state and a testament to the vigilance of the Punjab Police.

Calling it a “major achievement,” CM Mann commended the swift and effective action taken by the security personnel, adding that their alertness had once again safeguarded the country’s unity, integrity, and sovereignty.

“Punjab Police has set another benchmark in effective policing by nabbing those who were trying to harm the nation from within,” Mann said. “This operation has not only prevented a potential threat but also reasserted our commitment to defending the motherland.”

Punjab, being a border state, is often at the forefront of security issues. Recognizing the importance of this strategic role, the Chief Minister emphasized the state police’s unshakable determination. “The people of Punjab have always persevered in the face of hardship. This land, known as the sword arm of India, continues to uphold its proud legacy,” he said.

Mann emphasized that safeguarding national interests is not just a constitutional obligation but a moral duty. “The Punjab Police are not just enforcing the law—they’re guarding the soul of the nation,” he added.

With ongoing geopolitical tensions and increasing cross-border threats, the Chief Minister reaffirmed that the state remains ever-alert. He expressed full confidence in the capabilities of the law enforcement agencies and assured continued government support in their mission to maintain peace and stability.

The identity of the arrested individuals and details of the operation have not been disclosed due to the sensitive nature of the case, but officials confirm that investigations are ongoing.

As the state reels in pride over this significant operation, the message from the top is clear: Punjab remains vigilant, and any threat to national security will be met with swift and decisive action.
