Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited Delhi to raise several important and long-pending issues concerning the state. During his visit, he met Union Minister Prahlad Joshi and discussed key demands related to agriculture, finance, and procurement management.
The CM Bhagwant Mann Delhi meeting with Prahlad Joshi focused heavily on the urgent need to clear Punjab’s massive foodgrain stock. The Chief Minister requested that 155 lakh metric tonnes of wheat and rice lying in state godowns be lifted at the earliest to reduce storage pressure and logistical challenges in the state.

Another major issue highlighted in the CM Bhagwant Mann Delhi meeting with Prahlad Joshi was the high interest burden on cash credit limits imposed on states. CM Mann urged the Centre to reduce the interest rates, stating that such a step would significantly ease Punjab’s financial stress.
