State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu presents his book ‘Spiritual Journey of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’ to Chief Justice Sheel Nagu at High Court Chandigarh.

The author of the religious heritage book, “Spiritual Journey of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib” – A Pictorial Depiction Dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom of Sacred Legacy of Ninth Sikh Guru, State Information Commissioner Punjab Harpreet Sandhu, presented the book to the Honble Chief Justice High Court Mr. Sheel Nagu at the Chief Justice chambers in High Court Chandigarh. Showing the holy shrines where Guru Sahib left his mark from birth to his martyrdom, the photo compilation is devoted to the approaching 350th Martyrdom Year of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.

“Spiritual Journey of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib” is a book that depicts the spiritual teachings, travels, and ultimate martyrdom of the Guru in an uplifting pictorial manner. The book seeks to inspire respect for the Guru’s teachings of compassion, international fraternity, and religious freedom through a creative fusion of images and succinct historical context. By painstakingly capturing the spirit of these sacred locations, author Harpreet Sandhu has elevated readers’ comprehension of Sikh history and heritage while facilitating a visual pilgrimage. The ninth Sikh Guru Sahib’s ultimate sacrifice for the country was also honored with a collection of books donated to the High Court Judges’ Library.

In addition to praising the book, Hon. Chief Justice Mr. Justice Sheel Nagu of the Punjab & Haryana High Court praised State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu for his dedicated efforts to artistically depict Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’s divine voyage. The book, he said, is an important contribution to the preservation and dissemination of the Ninth Sikh Guru’s spiritual and historical heritage, who was a symbol of bravery and morality. The Punjab High Court’s Chief Justice expressed gratitude for the initiative’s educational and cultural significance, highlighting the importance of such innovative work in helping India’s different cultures connect with its moral and spiritual religious legacy.
