Captain Amol Kalia Centre of Excellence Launched Alongside Glass Bridge and Education Projects in Rupnagar

Rupnagar, Punjab: The foundation stone for the Captain Amol Kalia Centre of Excellence was laid at ITI Nangal, marking a significant step towards skill development and youth empowerment in Punjab. The event also saw the inauguration of several development projects in the region.

Built at a cost of ₹23 crore, the Captain Amol Kalia Centre of Excellence aims to become a premier hub for modern skill development, offering courses in Robotics, Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology, 3D Printing, Drone Technology, Air Hostess Training, and Civil Aviation. The centre is expected to train over 500 students, equipping them with industry-relevant skills for the future.

Captain Amol Kalia Centre of Excellence Launched Alongside Glass Bridge and Education Projects

Alongside the Captain Amol Kalia Centre of Excellence, the foundation for a new glass bridge, costing ₹10 crore, was also laid. Additionally, educational projects worth ₹18 crore were inaugurated, reflecting the government’s commitment to comprehensive development.

Officials highlighted that the Captain Amol Kalia Centre of Excellence is part of a broader initiative to make Punjab’s youth employment-ready and technologically proficient. “Our government is fully committed to empowering young minds at every level,” stated a senior official.

Once completed, the Captain Amol Kalia Centre of Excellence will serve as a model institution for skill training and innovation, reinforcing Punjab’s status as a leader in education and technological advancement.
