Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic Batala Bus Accident near Sekhwan Police Station, calling it a painful and unfortunate incident that claimed two lives and left several others injured.
The Chief Minister said the Bus Accident in Batala is a heartbreaking tragedy and extended his condolences to the families of the deceased. He prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength for the bereaved families to cope with the loss caused by the Batala Bus Accident.
Government Announces ₹2 Lakh Compensation and Free Medical Treatment for Batala Bus Accident Victims
Mann announced that the government will provide financial assistance of ₹2 lakh to the families of each deceased victim affected by the Batala Bus Accident. He also assured that all injured victims of the Batala Bus Accident will receive free and quality medical treatment at government expense.

He further stated that immediately after the Bus Accident in Batala , police teams, medical units, and road safety forces reached the spot without delay and began rescue operations. The injured were swiftly shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment following the Batala Bus Accident.
