Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann accused BJP of spreading false propaganda over “Sheesh Mahal,” challenging party leaders to show proof and stop misleading citizens.

Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann blasted the BJP for deceiving the state’s citizens with bogus propaganda and challenged the saffron party’s officials to provide credible evidence to support their assertions about “Sheesh Mahal.”

In a video message, the chief minister claimed that the BJP leadership is having such vile outbursts because it is perplexed by the Aam Aadmi Party’s expanding support nationwide, particularly in Gujarat. In the absence of any concrete criticism of the state administration, he claimed, the BJP is attempting to mislead Punjabis by spitting vitriol. The saffronis party, according to Bhagwant Singh Mann, has no plan for the state and is currently relying solely on manipulated films and baseless accusations to disparage the state administration.

According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Chief Minister’s official residence is house number 45 in Chandigarh, while his guest house/camp office is house number 50. This has been the case ever since he took office as the head of state. The Chief Minister stated that visiting dignitaries from the state stay at this mansion and that it hosts a number of significant meetings. According to him, this house is utilized only as his camp house and a rest area for guests and has not been assigned to anyone.

These are the homes used by the ordinary leaders chosen by the Punjabis, not the Sheesh Mahals, according to the chief minister. He claimed that people who own palaces and are currently affiliated with the BJP have never resided there; instead, their friends and employees have done so. Bhagwant Singh Mann claimed that although the BJP leadership is silent on the matter, BJP leaders like Captain Amarinder Singh and former saffron party allies like Sukhbir Singh Badal have built enormous palaces using money obtained illegally.

Taking aim at the BJP, the chief minister reminded the saffron party that their minister of state, Ravneet Singh Bittu, is unlawfully occupying a Chandigarh home that was previously owned by his uncle, Tej Parkash Singh. He claimed that the Punjabi governor has never heeded repeated requests to have the BJP leader remove Sheesh Mahal. Before pointing the finger at them, Bhagwant Singh Mann firmly stated that the BJP should examine its own conscience and determine its current position.
