Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh has taken immediate cognizance of a civic sanitation issue after stagnant sewage water was reported at Tripuri Chowk in Patiala. The minister directed Municipal Corporation officials to resolve the problem on priority and ensure timely action.
The stagnant sewage issue in Patiala came under notice when the minister observed the condition of waterlogging and sewage overflow in the area. He immediately contacted the Municipal Commissioner and instructed that necessary steps be taken to fix the issue by the evening.
