The AAP Punjab Membership drive received a boost as prominent leaders Bhupinder Pal Singh Jadla and Jathedar Tara Singh Shekhupur officially joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The development was shared by AAP leader Balbir Singh on his official X account.
The induction ceremony took place in the presence of Punjab Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and AAP Punjab Working President MLA Sherry Kalsi. According to the party, the two leaders decided to join AAP after being inspired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s governance and the government’s public welfare initiatives.
Former Akali Dal Leaders Join AAP
As part of the growing AAP Punjab Membership, wrestler Bhupinder Pal Singh Jadla, who served as the Doaba Zone President of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) BC Wing and National Chairman of the Rustam-e-Hind Wrestling Association, joined the party.

Jathedar Tara Singh Shekhupur, Senior Vice President of the Punjab BC Wing, also became a member of AAP during the event.
Leaders Cite Bhagwant Mann Government’s Work
According to the party, the new members said they were impressed by the people-centric policies of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the achievements of the Punjab Government.
