CHANDIGARH: Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema welcomed a large number of villagers from Changli Wala village in the Dirba constituency of Sangrur district into the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
According to information shared on Harpal Singh Cheema’s official X account, the villagers joined the party after being influenced by the public welfare policies and governance model of the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government.
During the joining programme, Harpal Singh Cheema inducted the new members into the party and warmly welcomed them into the AAP family.
AAP Expansion in Punjab Reflects Growing Public Support
Speaking on the occasion, Harpal Singh Cheema said the AAP expansion in Punjab reflects the growing trust of people in the party’s policies and development-focused governance.
He stated that people from villages and cities across Punjab are joining the Aam Aadmi Party because of its commitment to honest politics, welfare schemes and transparent administration.

The minister added that the AAP expansion in Punjab has gained strength due to initiatives related to education, healthcare, electricity relief and rural development introduced by the Punjab Government.
Villagers from Changli Wala Join AAP Family
The newly joined members expressed confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and said they were inspired by the government’s public welfare initiatives.
AAP leaders present during the programme also said the AAP expansion in Punjab would continue in the coming months as more people connect with the party’s ideology and governance model.
