Punjab government, led by CM Bhagwant Mann, organizes grand Light & Sound shows across 23 districts to honor the 350th anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

The Punjab Government is putting on a number of events to honor the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Ninth Guru. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is leading the way.  There were amazing Light and Sound Shows in Jalandhar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala, and Pathankot as part of these activities. There were a lot of people at the festivities, including Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, and other important people from the area.

A government spokeswoman said that Tarunpreet Singh Sond, the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, went to the event at the Sports Stadium in Madhopur, Fatehgarh Sahib. In the same way, Mohinder Bhagat, the Minister of Defence Services Welfare, Freedom Fighters, and Horticulture, and Deepak Bali, the Advisor to the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, went to the show at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium in Jalandhar.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Lal Chand Kataruchakk was at Pathankot’s Lamini Stadium, and Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh was at the exhibition at Polo Ground in Patiala. Devotees at all the sites were very grateful for the effort and watched the presentations with respect and devotion.

The Light and Sound Shows used advanced laser lights and 3D projection technology to show Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life, philosophy, teachings, and ultimate martyrdom. He gave his life to protect the right to freedom of faith. The Punjab Government is putting up these concerts in all 23 districts. They will go on till November 20.
