Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora announces formation of industry-led textile reform committees to boost ease of doing business and improve Punjab’s industrial policy.
The Punjab Government has notified three sector-specific committees aimed at reforming and strengthening the textile industry, Cabinet Minister Sh. Sanjeev Arora announced today. The initiative focuses on tailoring Punjab’s industrial policy and improving the ease of doing business through expert guidance from leading industry figures.
The committees—focused on Spinning & Weaving, Apparels, and Dyeing & Finishing Units—will be chaired by prominent industrialists:

Minister Sanjeev Arora emphasized that the government aims to develop inclusive policies by incorporating views from diverse business sizes, geographies, and sub-sectors. More members may be added at the government’s discretion.
