Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to transfer ₹1,836 crore directly into the bank accounts of 1.25 crore beneficiaries of the ‘Ladli Behnas’ scheme on Saturday, February 14, at Pandhana in Khandwa district. So far, a total of ₹52,304 crore has been distributed under the scheme to support women across the state.

During the event, Dr. Mohan Yadav will also perform Bhoomi Poojan for new development projects worth ₹255 crore and inaugurate 11 completed projects valued at ₹354 crore. Key projects include the Khandwa Municipal Corporation’s sewerage project costing ₹252 crore, the construction of the Pandhana bus stand and shopping complex, and the ‘Ran Basera’ facility, which will be built at a cost of ₹2.90 crore.

The program is expected to further promote women’s empowerment while also advancing infrastructure development in the region, marking a major step in Madhya Pradesh’s social and urban development initiatives.
