Madhya Pradesh : Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel solemnly paid floral tribute and offered his respects at the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, on the occasion of his death anniversary. The Governor observed a two-minute silence in memory of the great leader and to honor the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs.
Also present on the occasion was Lokayukta Justice Shri Satendra Kumar Singh, who joined the Governor in paying floral homage to Mahatma Gandhi. The Governor’s Principal Secretary, Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, was among the dignitaries attending the tribute ceremony.
In addition, on Martyrs’ Day, the Mangubhai Patel Additional Secretary Shri Umashankar Bhargava, along with other officers and employees of Lok Bhavan, offered floral tributes at the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. They observed a moment of silence, reflecting on the enduring legacy of Gandhi and paying heartfelt homage to all the martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation.
