Governor Mangubhai Patel Meets Kerala Public Representatives, Highlights Effective Governance and Public Welfare

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: Governor Mangubhai Patel met with councillors and public representatives from various local bodies of Kerala during their visit to Madhya Pradesh at Lok Bhavan on Sunday. The Governor warmly welcomed the delegation and received insights into political and administrative initiatives from their respective areas. Principal Secretary to the Governor Mangubhai Patel, Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, was also present during the meeting.

Mangubhai Patel Urges Kerala Representatives to Promote Transparency, Accountability, and Public Welfare

Governor Mangubhai Patel encouraged the Kerala representatives to implement the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” as advocated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in their public welfare and development work. He emphasized that their role is crucial in ensuring government schemes reach every citizen and urged them to promote transparency, accountability, and public participation in local governance. He also reminded them to prioritize the needs of the poor and marginalized in their communities.\

During the meeting, the Kerala representatives shared their experiences from the Madhya Pradesh tour, appreciating initiatives such as cleanliness management in Bhopal, which is ranked as India’s cleanest capital, water management practices, smart city projects, waste disposal systems, and solar energy implementation. Officials from Raj Bhavan and members of the Malayali community residing in the state also attended the courtesy meeting.
