CM Dr. Mohan Yadav launches Godaan film trailer on Gaumata, promotes cow conservation, gaushalas, milk production, and Panchgavya products.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the trailer and unveiled the poster of the film Godaan, which focuses on Gaumata, at his official residence on Wednesday. The film is set to release on February 6, and the Chief Minister said he plans to watch it personally along with public representatives.
Dr. Yadav mentioned that he has been associated with cattle rearing and ‘Gauseva’ since childhood. He highlighted that Gaumata not only provides milk but also contributes significantly to maintaining a positive environment. He added that the sense of fulfilment from serving cows is unmatched and emphasized that Gaumata has held an important place in Indian culture since the times of Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. The Madhya Pradesh government has implemented comprehensive measures for managing gaushalas, including modern operations of large gaushalas, cattle conservation, and ensuring fair returns for milk producers. To encourage youth participation, animal husbandry-related courses have also been included in higher education programs. Additionally, the state government has increased assistance for cattle feed in gaushalas from ₹20 to ₹40 per cow.
