Haryana Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Shruti Choudhry conducted a detailed review of the state’s drinking water availability and overall water management system in a high-level meeting with officials. The discussion focused on strengthening supply arrangements across all districts to ensure uninterrupted water availability during the upcoming summer season.

Priority to Filling Water Bodies and Storage Systems
During the review, the Minister directed that all waterworks, reservoirs, ponds, and other water storage structures across districts must be filled on priority. The Shruti Choudhry Reviews Water Management meeting stressed that timely action is essential to prevent any drinking water shortage during peak summer demand.

Shruti Choudhry reiterated that providing clean, adequate, and uninterrupted drinking water to every citizen is the top priority of the Haryana government.
