Faridabad, Haryana: Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Saini announced comprehensive support measures for the victims of the tragic swing ride collapse at the Surajkund International Crafts Mela. He stated that one member of the martyr Inspector’s family will be offered a government job, while the injured will receive financial assistance of ₹1 lakh each, and the state will cover medical expenses in reputed hospitals.

CM Nayab Saini Condoles Inspector Prasad’s Death, Pledges Support
The Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow over the accident and extended condolences to the family of Inspector Jagdish Prasad, who lost his life while on duty. Inspector Prasad was posted at Chandhat Police Station, Palwal, and CM Nayab Saini assured that the government would provide full support to his family during this difficult time.

Regarding the injured, eight patients admitted to Supreme Hospital have been partially discharged, with four still under treatment, and all are receiving care under medical supervision. Additionally, four patients at BK Civil Hospital have been treated and discharged.
CM Nayab Saini directed officials to implement stricter safety measures to ensure that such tragic incidents do not occur in the future.
