Haryana Staff Selection Commission ( HSSC ) Chairman Himmat Singh announced that online applications are now open for direct recruitment to various Group posts under Advertisement No. 3/2026. Candidates can apply online from February 6 to February 20, 2026, until 11:59 PM via https://adv032026.hryssc.com
. The portal will be automatically closed after the deadline. He clarified that departmental preferences will only be considered for candidates who qualify the stenography skill test.
Highlighting provisions for Sikh candidates, Himmat Singh stated that they will be allowed to wear and carry a Kirpan in all examinations conducted by the Commission, subject to specified limits: total length should not exceed 9 inches (22.86 cm), with a blade length of up to 6 inches (15.24 cm). Such candidates are required to report at the examination center at least one hour before the exam.

Additionally, married women candidates are permitted to wear a Mangalsutra inside the examination hall and must arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled exam time.
HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh confirmed that all examination centers, supervisors, and security personnel have been instructed to ensure smooth implementation of these provisions in line with the State Government’s notification.
