Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini holds pre-budget consultations to boost industrial growth, jobs, and economic development across the state.
According to Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the manufacturing and industrial sectors are essential to the state’s economy. The forthcoming state budget will give the industrial sector particular attention while keeping economic growth in mind. In order to boost the state’s economy and guarantee Haryana’s leading role in India’s transition to a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047, the state administration has set a clear goal to make the upcoming budget more employment-oriented and industry-friendly.
At a pre-budget consultation meeting in Gurugram, the Chief Minister was speaking directly to business owners. According to Saini, the goal of the pre-budget consultation sessions is to improve the state’s business climate by implementing insightful recommendations from pertinent stakeholders. A similar consultation was conducted last year as well, he recalled, and it produced great recommendations that strengthened policies. Up to 71 recommendations from the earlier consultations were included in the budget. About Rs 1,951.43 crore was set aside for the Industries and Labor Departments for the fiscal year 2025–2026; of that amount, Rs 873.51 crore has already been spent. Constructive budget-related comments are welcome, he noted, and stakeholders can also use an AI chatbot to provide their opinion.
Implementation of Budget Announcements on the Ground
The Chief Minister stated that the Haryana government is constantly striving to guarantee that budget announcements are carried out locally. To further enhance these sectors, the Industries and Labour Departments received a 129.37 percent increase in funding in the previous budget. He said that 5 acres in IMT Bawal, 2.76 acres in IMT Faridabad, and 5.47 acres in IMT Sohna had been set aside for the building of worker dorms and single-room accommodations. At a rate of Rs 3 crore per acre, about 5,800 acres of land have also been identified for IMT Kharkhoda expansion; they will shortly be purchased under the Industrial Policy-2022.

Particular Attention to Industrial Development Budgetary Provisions
The pre-budget consultation conference yielded a number of recommendations, according to the chief minister. He promised that financial provisions for Haryana’s industrial development would receive particular attention. The budget will be more successful if the recommendations are specific and doable. He personally promised that all suggestions would be taken seriously and stressed that each one acts as a guiding input.
Kharkhoda Will See the Development of a Satellite City
According to Saini, a satellite city is slated to be built on 10,000 acres in the Sonipat district’s Kharkhoda. In addition, traders have been contacting the government about the establishment of a wholesale market in Rai. He added that, as stated in its election promise, the administration has also pledged to establish an EV park. In addition, a Rs 70,000 crore Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been developed for the RRTS project, and tenders will be released shortly. The state’s citizens will gain from the RRTS’s operations from Sarai Kale Khan to Karnal and Sarai Kale Khan to Alwar. In Manesar, a convention center will also be constructed. He went on to say that the Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads) has already been given funding for the construction of a Labour Court, which will cost Rs 26 lakh and be located in the Mini Secretariat complex in Bawal.
India Will Become a Developed Nation Through Industrial Development: Rao Narbir Singh
The Haryana government is working with a concentrated goal of “Viksit Bharat”-2047, according to Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh. In addition to the expansion of industry, the government is successfully carrying out its duties to give India a new identity as a developed country. He underlined that industry sector representatives are essential to creating a Haryana that is prepared for the future. Therefore, in order to make the next budget inclusive, seamless, and fruitful for all stakeholders, the state government will keep taking action by soliciting comments through these pre-budget sessions.
