Agniveer Policy-2024 Amended to Provide 20% Reservation in Key Security-Related Positions

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini announced that the state cabinet has approved a total of six proposals, including important amendments to the Agniveer Policy-2024. This move is aimed at enhancing the career opportunities and benefits for Agniveers who have served the nation with dedication and discipline.

Under the amended Agniveer Policy-2024, Agniveers will now receive a 20% horizontal reservation in positions such as Forest Guard, Warden, and Mining Guard, a significant increase from the previous 10%. This change is expected to provide greater representation and recognition to Agniveers in security-related roles across the state.
