Chandigarh : Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini emphasized that increasing farmers’ income is the topmost priority of the state government. In a significant step towards farmers income enhancement, a review meeting was held today with officials from the Agriculture and Horticulture Department in Chandigarh to assess the progress of ongoing agricultural and horticultural schemes.

During the meeting, CM Saini instructed officials to encourage cluster-based farming, adopt new hybrid varieties, and make maximum use of modern technologies. The government has also set an ambitious target to improve 1.40 lakh acres of fallow and saline land, highlighting a key strategy for farmers income enhancement.
Farmers Income Enhancement Boosted Through Natural and Chemical-Free Farming Initiatives
The Haryana government is simultaneously promoting natural and chemical-free farming to reduce production costs while improving soil fertility. By providing technical guidance, training, and necessary assistance, officials noted that continuous efforts are being made to make the agriculture sector more profitable and sustainable, further supporting farmers income enhancement.
