Arvind Kejriwal, National Convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, extended heartfelt greetings to all Gujarati brothers and sisters on the occasion of Uttarayan, also known as Makar Sankranti.

In his message, Kejriwal said, “Heartfelt wishes to all Gujarati brothers and sisters on the occasion of Uttarayan/Makar Sankranti festival. May this celebration of the Sun’s journey towards Uttarayana become a celebration of health and prosperity for all of you – that is our heartfelt wish.”

Uttarayan, celebrated with great enthusiasm in Gujarat, marks the Sun’s transition towards the northern hemisphere and is traditionally associated with kite flying, feasts, and community gatherings.
