Gandhinagar, Gujarat – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat continued its rigorous candidate selection process for the upcoming Local Self-Government elections on the second day of the State Election Committee meeting today. Party officials and leadership emphasized transparency, inclusivity, and merit-based selection as central to their strategy for the AAP Gujarat local elections.
Focus on Open-to-All Candidate Selection
The State Election Committee, chaired by AAP Gujarat leadership, is tasked with reviewing applications, screening potential candidates, and finalizing names for the municipal, taluka, district, and metropolitan local bodies across the state. “Our goal is to ensure that the AAP Gujarat local elections see candidates chosen based on their capabilities, community service, and commitment to public welfare rather than family lineage or political favoritism,” a party official stated.
