Congress leaders Vadhanji Thakor and Harunbhai Mansuri join AAP in Patan, strengthening the party’s base in Gujarat ahead of upcoming elections.

Patan: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) recorded a significant political development in Gujarat after Congress leader Vadhanji Thakor and former Sankhari Taluka Panchayat candidate Advocate Harunbhai Mansuri joined the party along with their supporters. The announcement was made during a Legislative Assembly Officer meeting held in Patan in the presence of AAP Gujarat’s State Co-in-charge Gulab Matiala.

During the meeting, AAP leaders highlighted the growing acceptance of the party across Gujarat, especially among grassroots workers who are looking for transparent and people-first governance. The induction of senior leaders from the Congress is being seen as a notable boost for AAP’s organisational expansion in North Gujarat.

Gulab Matiala welcomed both leaders and their supporters, stating that AAP’s work in education, health, and public welfare is inspiring people across the state. He added that the party’s focus on clean politics and accessible governance has motivated experienced leaders to join hands with AAP.

According to party workers, the joining of Vadhanji Thakor and Advocate Harunbhai Mansuri is expected to strengthen AAP’s outreach in Patan and neighbouring regions. Their political experience and local presence are likely to contribute to AAP’s preparations for upcoming electoral strategies in Gujarat.

With more leaders shifting towards AAP, the party aims to expand its grassroots influence and position itself as a strong alternative in Gujarat’s political landscape.
