AAP leader Karan Barot criticizes Gujarat Congress’ internal conflicts and invites loyal leaders to join AAP to fight BJP.
Ahmedabad/Patan, Gujarat: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly criticized the ongoing internal turmoil within the Gujarat Congress, calling it a barrier to justice for the people of the state. Responding to recent resignations and disputes over organizational appointments, AAP state spokesperson Dr. Karan Barot highlighted what he termed “extreme factionalism” within the Congress.
Barot noted that dedicated Congress workers are being ignored and marginalized, while appointments continue under the influence of anti-party elements. “Even hardworking legislators are left out of the decision-making process, forcing some to threaten resignation from their posts,” he said.

Barot referred to the remarks of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who had previously differentiated between “marriage horses” and “racehorses” in the party, highlighting the ongoing confusion over key leadership roles. He said the current scenario demonstrates that Congress has failed to identify capable leaders and maintain discipline.
“Today, the Congress’ internal conflict makes it impossible for the people of Gujarat to receive justice,” Barot said. “The only party actively working to defeat the BJP in Gujarat is the Aam Aadmi Party.”
He further extended an invitation to loyal Congress leaders who genuinely want to serve the people of Gujarat to join AAP. According to Barot, these leaders can contribute effectively to building a stronger opposition capable of ensuring governance that prioritizes citizen welfare over internal politics.
