Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has made sharp remarks questioning the functioning and fairness of India’s electoral system, sparking a wider political debate. Sanjay Singh alleged that agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and the Election Commission are being used in ways that raise questions about neutrality. The AAP leader also alleged that frequent transfers or removal of key administrative officials such as DGPs, Chief Secretaries, District Magistrates, and SPs during elections weaken institutional neutrality.
