Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has strongly criticized the education and examination system, alleging widespread irregularities in what he described as a CBSE exam evaluation scam that has severely impacted students across the country.
He claimed that the CBSE exam evaluation scam has effectively “washed away years of hard work” put in by millions of students, stating that many young candidates now feel their academic futures have been unfairly damaged due to flawed assessment processes.

According to Sisodia, the consequences of the CBSE exam evaluation scam go beyond individual results, as students repeatedly face uncertainty and stress whenever they review their marksheets. He alleged that this situation has created a long-lasting psychological impact on India’s youth, especially Gen Z, who feel betrayed by the system.

Expanding his criticism, he also questioned the management of other national-level examinations such as NEET and SSC, suggesting that similar issues reflect a broader pattern of administrative failure. He said that the repeated occurrence of what he called a CBSE exam evaluation scam highlights deeper structural problems in the examination framework.

He further remarked that such failures cannot be dismissed as simple errors, but should be seen as systemic mismanagement affecting millions of students. Reiterating his stance, he again referred to the CBSE exam evaluation scam, calling it a symbol of what he described as “an era of betrayal” toward India’s younger generation.
The allegations have added to the ongoing political debate over examination reforms, transparency, and accountability in India’s education system, with calls for stricter oversight and improved evaluation mechanisms.
