Delhi: In a remarkable demonstration of communal harmony, 25 people were saved from a fire in Bhajanpura, thanks to the bravery and coordination of local residents. Senior AAP Delhi leader Saurabh Bhardwaj highlighted the incident during a press conference, emphasizing the importance of unity in preventing tragedies.
The recent fire in Bhajanpura saw a Muslim family trapped late at night. A Hindu Brahmin family was the first to respond, rushing in to rescue the residents and ensure everyone’s safety. Five people, trapped on the upper floors, jumped to safety and were caught by residents standing below, who acted with quick thinking and caution.

Local volunteers organized ladders and made careful arrangements to rescue 20–25 people, preventing casualties. “If similar quick action had been taken during the Palam fire incident, more lives could have been saved. This incident teaches us the value of timely intervention and communal cooperation,” said Saurabh Bhardwaj of AAP Delhi.
