Delhi Father slammed after letting Son urinating on Metro tracks
A disturbing Video from Delhi’s Inderlok Mtero Station has ignited backlash across Social Media after a man was seen allowing his son to urinate on Metro Tracks. The footage shared widely on X, captured sharp public criticism of his behaviour , many said it was “Highly Uncivilized”
The little boy is seen urinating very close to the platform as a train approaches, and the father standing nearby, offering no Intervention. A bystander filmed the scene and labeled them “shameless” while covering the public place by showing the station name. When confronted by what looks to be a Delhi Metro staff member, the father mutters a reply and then walks away with the child.
Netizens reacted strongly, with many demanding fines and one user commenting bluntly-
“Toilets are available and clean. So why, man?”
Another remarked:
“It is one of the most uncivilized displays in a public setting.”
There were also voices urging a balanced perspective. One User highlighted Infrastructure shortcomings,
“Once you enter the station, there should be a toilet inside.”www.ndtv.com
Another added:
“It’s so normalised in people’s minds that they don’t even recognize it as wrong. If the conscience doesn’t register the fault, how will they correct it?”
DMRC’s Response
Though not commenting directly on the incident, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had previously urged commuters to report such behavior via their 24×7 helplines (155370 for general help, 155655 for security) if witnessed.
