Dr. Prem Kumar, BJP veteran with 8 consecutive MLA wins, is sworn in as Bihar Assembly Speaker, showcasing stability and political expertise.

Patna: The BJP has once again demonstrated its organizational prowess and expertise in Bihar politics. The new Speaker of the Bihar Assembly, Dr. Prem Kumar, was chosen unanimously. Prem Kumar’s name was decided upon at Monday’s meeting between the BJP, JD(U), LJP (Ram Vilas), HAM, and RLJP. Since it was previously agreed that Prem Kumar would be elected president without a challenge, the opposition did not put up a candidate this time.

Following the Governor’s directive, Prem Kumar formally took the oath of office as Speaker of the Assembly today. He received congratulations from a number of high-ranking officials, including Nitish Kumar and the Deputy Chief Minister. One of the rare BJP leaders whose political career began on the organization’s ground and reached the pinnacles of power is Dr. Prem Kumar. The district is where he was born. He works as an agronomic and  was involved in student politics with the BJP. He began his political career in the 1980s with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and progressively joined the BJP.
