Bihar election 2025: NDA and Mahagathbandhan finalize seat-sharing talks as parties prepare; RLJP seeks only strong seats for a united front.

The Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) and the NDA are in the last stages of their seat-sharing negotiations. Pashupati Kumar Paras, the leader of the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party, has declared that they will only seek seats in which they are certain of winning.
Seat-sharing negotiations between the state’s main alliances, the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan, are now nearing their conclusion as all political parties ramp up their preparations for the impending Bihar assembly elections.

In the midst of these events, Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) head and Mahagathbandhan member Pashupati Kumar Paras has made a comment regarding seat distribution that would make alliance leaders Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav more concerned.
According to Paras, his party has carried out a poll and will make strategic demands. “Only seats where we have a good chance of winning will be demanded. We won’t insist on extra seats,” he declared. The formation of a Mahagathbandhan government is the main goal, he emphasized. “I will only ask for seats where our candidates are strong. “I have no doubt that we will attain a strike rate of 100 percent,” Paras continued.
Aims for CM Kumar Nitish
At the same time, the leader of the RLJP attacked the lengthy tenure of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. “In Bihar, one individual has held the reins of power for 20 years. With high hopes, the state’s citizens chose Nitish Kumar as their chief minister. But we didn’t receive the outcomes we were hoping for,” Paras said.
Following consultations in 32 districts, he said, his party has come to the conclusion that “the people of Bihar are now in the mood for a change.”
The Election Commission is anticipated to make the dates for the assembly elections public shortly, which coincides with this political scheming.
