New Delhi: India opener Abhishek Sharma continues to hold the top spot in the ICC T20I batting rankings, while Varun Chakravarthy maintains a slight edge over Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed as the leading T20I bowler. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza has reclaimed the No.1 position among T20I all-rounders in the latest ICC rankings released on Wednesday.

Abhishek Sharma leads with 909 points, ahead of England’s Phil Salt (821), Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan (769), Jos Buttler (766), and Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka (754). Other notable movers in the batting rankings include New Zealand’s Tim Seifert (up to 8th), Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis (up six places to 12th), Scotland’s George Munsey (up seven to 23rd), India’s Ishan Kishan (up seven to 25th), and Netherlands’ Michael Levitt (up six to 27th).

Bradley Currie Makes Biggest Leap in Latest ICC Bowling Rankings

In the bowling rankings, Chakravarthy continues to hold a narrow lead over Abrar Ahmed, with Sri Lanka’s all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga (up one spot to 5th) being the only significant change inside the top 10. Outside the top 10, there has been considerable movement: Arshdeep Singh rises three places to 11th, Salman Mirza jumps nine spots to 13th, Brad Evans climbs 16 places to 15th, Mitchell Santner moves up four slots to 19th, and Bradley Currie advances 25 spots to 24th.

In the all-rounders’ list, Sikandar Raza has been rewarded for Zimbabwe’s strong start to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. After an eight-wicket win over Oman in their tournament opener in Colombo, Raza’s contributions with both bat and ball propelled him back to the top. He bowled four economical overs, taking 1/17 to restrict Oman to 103, and later scored the winning runs to ensure Zimbabwe made a perfect start.

With this performance, Raza moves past Pakistan opener Saim Ayub to reclaim the No.1 T20I all-rounder position, which he first reached late last year
