The auction is anticipated to take place during the second or third week of December, with December 13–15 emerging as the most likely timeframe,  According to the source, the BCCI is trying to plan the event around those dates, although it hasn’t finalized the schedule yet.

Additionally, it has been stated that the retention deadline has been set for November 15. The names of the players that the various organizations will be releasing prior to the auction must be disclosed by that date.

Players like Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar, Rahul Tripathi, and Sam Curran are reportedly on the franchises’ release lists. Due to R Ashwin’s retirement earlier this year, the Chennai Super Kings already had Rs 9.75 crore added to their budget, therefore they will have some advantage in the auction.
Before the IPL auction, no significant team changes are anticipated.
