INSTRUCTIONS FOR FORMING A TEAM TO INVESTIGATE ADULTERATION IN FOOD ITEMS.

 

District In-charge Secretary Shri Rajendra Vijay has instructed all departmental officers to go to the field level and do effective monitoring of the implementation of schemes. He gave these instructions in the meeting of district level officers held on Monday.

 

In the district level meeting held in the EDP auditorium of the District Council, In-charge Secretary Shri Vijay told all the department heads to have complete information about all the schemes of their departments. Also, they should determine the work by giving targets to all the personnel working under them and take reports by effectively implementing the works on the ground while keeping a dialogue with the general public.

 

In the meeting, District Collector Ankit Kumar Singh gave information about the progress of flagship schemes, Chief Minister Jal Swavalamban Yojana 2, Intensive Tree Plantation Program and other schemes.

 

In the meeting, District Superintendent of Police Monika Sen gave information about the law and order in the district and the action being taken by the department for crime control.

 

At the beginning of the program, Additional District Collector Kulraj Meena welcomed the Secretary-in-Charge and started the meeting proceedings.

 

MEDICAL AND HEALTH DEPARTMENT

While reviewing the Medical and Health Department in the meeting, the Secretary-in-Charge Mr. Vijay asked the Chief Medical and Health Officer to work with focus by holding a meeting with the block level officer in the blocks where there is less progress in the implementation of the schemes and take its report from time to time.

 

He directed the District Collector to constitute a team to investigate adulteration in food items in the district, to also do sampling of spices and other food items coming from outside. During the review, he took information regarding availability of medicines, arrangements made for treatment of seasonal diseases, fogging, work being done for tuberculosis prevention, malnutrition survey etc. and provided guidelines.

 

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

While reviewing the education department in the meeting, he reviewed the progress of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, mid-day meal, food grain distribution, Mukhyamantri Bal Gopal Yojana, board exam results, scholarship distribution in the district. He directed to do wide publicity of PM Shri Yojana and organize a workshop in this regard.

 

TRIBAL AREA DEPARTMENT

While reviewing the Tribal Area Development Department, the Secretary-in-Charge Mr. Vijay instructed to prepare data according to age under the Tuberculosis Control Program, so that along with their proper treatment, treatment can be done with special focus on their food habits and habits.

 

In the meeting, other departments including Electricity Department, Watershed, Horticulture were also reviewed, and necessary instructions were provided. All the district level officers of the district were present in the meeting.
