State level free textbook distribution ceremony; real objective of free textbook distribution will be fulfilled – Education Minister

 

Education Minister Mr. Madan Dilawar said that the real objective of free text book distribution will be fulfilled by providing books to the students of 66 thousand government schools of the state in the first week of July.

 

Mr. Dilawar congratulated and wished the students for continuously moving forward on the path of progress by acquiring knowledge and values ​​from books at the state level free text book distribution ceremony organized at Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Mansarovar, Jaipur on Friday. He praised the Rajasthan Text Book Board for ensuring the distribution of books at the beginning of the education session itself. He informed that free book distribution programs are being held in all the government schools of the state on July 5.

Students’ faces lit up on receiving books

 

In the ceremony, the Education Minister and the guests present provided text books to the students from pre-primary to class 12. The best players of the school and the students with the best exam results were honored by wearing medals.

Release of Nipun Calendar

 

In the ceremony, Nipun Calendar, useful for students and parents of classes 1 to 5 and based on basic literacy and numeracy to be conducted during the academic session, was also released.

 

On this occasion, the Education Minister planted a sapling in the school premises and distributed saplings to the students and motivated them to plant as many saplings as possible and take care of them.

 

State Project Director and Commissioner Shri Avichal Chaturvedi, Director Secondary Education Shri Ashish Modi, Director Elementary Education Shri Sitaram Jat and Director of Rajasthan Text Book Board Shri Moolchand Verma along with officials of the Education Department and students were present in the ceremony.
