During the program held at Police Headquarters Dehradun, Pushkar Singh Dhami formally launched 3 criminal laws launched by Indian judicial system

The Chief Minister formally launched three new criminal laws implemented across the country in Uttarakhand. The new law will strengthen the concept of justice. Discipline, fairness and justice are the old traditions of our country.

 

The new laws will work to show a new direction to the country: CM Dhami. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, while participating in the program organized at Police Headquarters Dehradun on Monday, formally launched three new criminal laws implemented in the Indian judicial system in the state.

 

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated everyone on the implementation of three new laws in the Indian judicial system and said that today is a historic day for the Indian judicial system. New criminal laws are being implemented according to the current situation by removing various old and unnecessary laws running since the British era.

 

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the new laws will strengthen the concept of justice and will help the police and courts on a large scale in making the process of getting justice more simple and accessible. The Chief Minister said that discipline, fairness and justice have been an old tradition of our country.

 

This law reflects the commitment of the Modi government to eradicate the mentality of slavery and get rid of colonial laws. The new law will work to show a new direction to the country in the period after the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.

 

Now our judicial system will be completely indigenous which will be governed by India, for India and according to the laws made by the Indian Parliament. The new laws will protect the rights of citizens and will also strengthen the law and order. The Chief Minister said that the facility of e-FIR has been introduced in the new laws. Online system has also been emphasized in the new laws. Everything has been incorporated in the new laws with clarity and simplification.

 

The Chief Minister said that for the first time in the history of independent India, our laws will completely define terrorism, organized crimes and economic crimes. Mob lynching has been clearly defined in the new laws, clear provisions have been made to prosecute even in the absence of fugitives.

 

Also, the introduction of community service as a punishment for very minor crimes is a revolutionary step. The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to providing justice to the people of Uttarakhand and protecting their rights.

 

The state government has separately made a provision of Rs 20 crore for the implementation of the new laws. He said that Uttarakhand Police will definitely implement all the three laws with full commitment. During the program, advocates, police officers, public representatives from various districts also gave detailed information on the three new laws
