Major Welfare and Innovation Schemes Announced to Benefit Farmers, Women, and Youth

In his first set of decisions after relocating to Seva Teerth, PM Modi approved a series of initiatives designed to embody the spirit of public service. The new measures aim to provide targeted support to farmers, women, youth, and other vulnerable sections of society.

PM RAHAT Scheme: Cashless Treatment Up to ₹1.5 Lakh

The PM Modi sanctioned the PM RAHAT scheme, under which accident victims will receive cashless medical treatment of up to ₹1.5 lakh. The program seeks to prevent loss of life due to the unavailability of timely medical care.

Lakhpati Didi Initiative Target Doubled to 6 Crore

The government has already achieved the milestone of 3 crore Lakhpati Didis, more than a year ahead of schedule. PM Modi has now raised the target to 6 crore Lakhpati Didis by March 2029, effectively doubling the scope and ambition of the initiative.

Agriculture Infrastructure Fund Increased to ₹2 Lakh Crore

To strengthen the agriculture value chain, the outlay for the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has been increased from ₹1 lakh crore to ₹2 lakh crore. The enhanced fund will support the development of infrastructure across the farming sector.

Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 Launched with ₹10,000 Crore Corpus

To promote innovation, especially in deep tech, early-stage ventures, advanced manufacturing, and breakthrough technologies, the Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 has been approved. The fund comes with a corpus of ₹10,000 crore, aimed at fostering the next phase of innovation-driven growth in India.
