New Delhi : Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the second installment of the Modi Budget Webinar 2026, focusing on the theme of “Sustaining and Strengthening Economic Growth.” Reflecting on the success of the first webinar, PM Modi highlighted the importance of deliberations and suggestions for the effective implementation of budget provisions.

During the Modi Budget Webinar 2026, the Prime Minister emphasized that India’s economy is a beacon of hope globally amid reshaped supply chains. “The rapid progress of the economy is a massive foundation for a ‘Viksit Bharat’,” he remarked. PM Modi reiterated the government’s mantras: “Build more, produce more, connect more, and export more,” stressing that stakeholder participation is key to turning policy direction into tangible results.
Strengthening Manufacturing, MSMEs, and Urban Centers
PM Modi highlighted that manufacturing, logistics, MSMEs, and urban centers are interconnected pillars driving India’s economic growth. He emphasized sectors like the Dedicated Rare Earth Corridors and container manufacturing, aiming to remove bottlenecks and bolster trade. Additionally, the Biopharma Shakti Mission was spotlighted to position India as a global hub for biologics and next-generation therapies.
The Prime Minister urged MSMEs to embrace global competitiveness, enhance productivity, and adopt digital processes. “Now is the time for MSMEs to further increase their productivity, raise their quality standards, and connect with digital processes and strong value chains,” he said.

Infrastructure, FTAs, and Sustainability
The Modi Budget Webinar 2026 also focused on infrastructure and logistics as key pillars for national growth. The PM highlighted high-speed rail, multi-modal connectivity, and ship repair facilities, stressing that the actual benefit depends on industry alignment.
