Hero MotoCorp updates popular commuter bike with modern tech, 72 kmpl mileage and ₹86,500 price tag

New Delhi:   Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the updated Hero Splendor Xtec 2.0 in the Indian market. The new model brings upgraded features, improved technology, and a more powerful engine, making it a refreshed option in the commuter motorcycle segment.

The launch of Splendor Xtec 2.0 strengthens Hero MotoCorp’s position in the highly competitive 125cc motorcycle category, where fuel efficiency and reliability remain key factors for buyers.

Features Include Smart Connectivity and Modern Tech

The Splendor Xtec 2.0 comes equipped with several advanced features designed to enhance rider convenience. These include i3S start-stop technology, hazard lights, Bluetooth connectivity, a fully digital instrument cluster, real-time mileage indicator, low fuel indicator, Type-C charging port, wide seat, and an improved rear grab rail.

With these additions, the Hero Splendor Xtec 2.0 aims to offer a more modern and practical riding experience for daily commuters.

Hero Splendor Xtec 2.0  Powered by 125cc Engine with Strong Mileage

The Splendor Xtec 2.0 is powered by a 125cc engine that produces 10.7 bhp of power and 10.6 Nm of torque. The bike is designed to deliver excellent fuel efficiency, with an estimated mileage of up to 72 km per litre.

The refined engine setup ensures that the Xtec 2.0 bike remains suitable for both city commuting and daily usage needs.

 Price and Competition in Market

The  Xtec 2.0 bike has been launched at an ex-showroom price of ₹86,500 and is available in five colour options. Positioned in the 125cc segment, the bike will compete with models such as Honda Shine 125, TVS Raider 125, Bajaj Pulsar 125, and Hero Glamour 125.

With its updated features and competitive pricing, the Hero Splendor Xtec 2.0 aims to attract a wide range of budget-conscious buyers in India’s commuter motorcycle market.
